School Summary
Harrington Elementary boasts consistently strong academic performance (earning an ‘A-’ from Plano School Reviews for 4 years in a row), an economically diverse student body, and a relatively small school size with an average of just over 70 students per grade. More than 9 of 10 (92%) STAAR scores approached the state standard in ‘18-19, nearly 2 of 3 (66%) met that standard, and just over 4 of 10 (41%) greatly exceeded it. Harrington is significantly stronger than the other two elementary schools that feed into underperforming Carpenter Middle School. From there, Harrington graduates feed into Clark High and Plano Senior. You can learn more at the Harrington PTA Facebook page and at PISD’s Harrington website.
