School Summary
With an average of just under 65 students per grade, Skaggs is the smallest of a group of 3 elementary schools all with impeccable academic reputations and similar performance records. Skaggs, Wyatt, and Andrews Elementary have all earned grades of ‘A’ or ‘A+’ from Plano School Reviews for each of the last 4 years, and they are three of PISD’s top-performing elementary schools. Collectively, they feed into PISD’s top-performing middle school, Rice. From there, students move on to PISD’s top-performing High School (grades 9-10), Jasper, and top-performing Senior High (grades 11-12), Plano West. All three of these schools have some of the lowest mobility rates and % of economically disadvantaged students in the district. Skaggs saw its % of mastery-level STAAR scores jump from an already impressive 60% to an incredible 69% between 2017-’18 and 2018-’19. Learn more about Skaggs at its Facebook page and the dedicated PISD website.
