School Summary
Hendrick is a solidly performing middle school, with STAAR scores at or just below PISD averages for each of the past four years. Just over 1 in 3 (34%) STAAR scores at Hendrick greatly exceeded grade-level expectations, 61% met the state standards, and 85% came close to meeting the those standards. Hendrick is one Plano ISD’s smallest middle schools, with an average of under 250 student per grade. School size is of significance importance in middle school, where the ratio of adults to children is incredibly important to help build and maintain a strong school culture. Two of the three elementary schools that feed into Hendrick—Beverly and Hedgcoxe—are quite strong. Hendrick itself feeds into Clark High and Plano Senior.
