School Summary
Located southeast of Plano in Richardson, TX, Stinson Elementary has been one of Plano ISD’s better performing elementary schools over the past four years. Stinson earned an ISD SchoolSearch rating of ‘A’ in 2015-’16 and 2016-’17 and ‘A-’ in 2017-’18 and 2018-’19. Two statistics of note: 1) Stinson is large, with an average of grade size of over 100 students; 2) Stinson has a lot of high-performing students, with 54% of STAAR test scores demonstrating mastery of grade-level content. Stinson joins two other elementary schools—Schell and Mendenhall—in feeding into Otto Middle School. After Otto, Stinson graduates move on to Williams High and Plano East Senior High.
