School Summary
Saigling Elementary has been a well-run school for many years, and continues to outpace PISD STAAR score averages (albeit by modest levels). 8 out of 9 (88%) STAAR scores at Saigling were approaching the state standard in 2018-19, just over 2/3 (68%) of the scores met that standard, and 4 out of 9 (44%) greatly exceeded it. The school’s mobility rate (number of students enrolling and withdrawing each year) is desirably low, which helps staff build and maintain a strong school culture. Also helping this effort is the small school size, with average grades of under 70 students. Saigling feeds into Haggard Middle School, Vines High, and Plano Senior.
